As I lie in bed,
A tickle crosses my belly.
Spider!
And the trained response:
That is very unlikely.
I try to sleep
and fail.
I turn back the covers.
Spider!
Story-scribbling, free-dancing, skip-dipping, pond-gazing, bowl-licking, paint-splatting, land-marveling, book-gorging, stone-whittling, fire-starting, moon-bathing soul-singing warrior mama.

That would have me leaping out of bed screaming! Not that I hate spiders, but too many of them here have nasty bites! You always have to check your boots for Redbacks if you leave them outside!
